IR Thermometer Calibration
Infrared (IR) thermometers are used to measure temperatures of surfaces without making contact. Many IR thermometers are equipped with a laser sight that allows the user to “point and shoot” to get readings from safe distances. These instruments are often used when personnel need to spot-measure temperatures of piping, machinery, bearings, furnaces, engines, or chemical reactors.
As versatile as infrared (IR) thermometers are, calibrating them can be a challenge. In order to calibrate them, you need to use a special apparatus in a controlled environment as well as a black body source and an accurate way of measuring the reference temperature of the black body source.
At PCS, we meet the challenges of IR thermometer calibration. We have your needs covered and our IR thermometer calibration services are highly valued by our customers. Benefit from our standard 48-hour turnaround times — the fastest turnaround time in the calibration industry
